Game 1 of the Dodgers Braves best of three saw Blaine take the mound and win giving up 2 runs on 2 hits and 2 walks with 5 Ks, B. Don closed it out and the Dodgers took the first game 13-2
In game 2 Grant struggled a abit and gave up a few walks and the Braves had us on the ropes but B. Don closed out the second game too and the Dodgers take the game 13-10 and move on to the championship series next week.
The other set was more interesting as the NBC started strong behind likely Pitcher of the year Ken Crochets gem of a start. Ken no hit a potent Donkeys lineup and took the first game 4-0.
Game 2 saw a tremendous collapse as the NBC blew a 16-6 lead to lose 19-16. A gimpy Chad came in to pitch against doctors orders to keep the game close then did his best Kirk Gibson impression blasting one into the cheap seats, then hobbled to the bench.
The Tie breaker was taken by the Swamp Donkeys ending a great NBC rookie campaign behind the strong outing of Josh. Donkeys move on the the championship series for the second year in a row and face the powerful Dodgers for all the marbles in a best of 5.
